PUNCH ABRUZZO
Authentic specialty , is one of the oldest ancient Abruzzo liquors , born in the upper Sangro Valley to cheer e warm the cold winter evenings of the then mayor of Borrello, founder of Evangelista Liquors . With its ancient and fascinating history and rich and unique bouquet, the Punch Abruzzo is iconic of Evangelista's production. Numerous awards and the gold medals bestowed on Punch Abruzzo, in 2011 the strict Beverage and Testing Institute of Chicago called it "Exceptional Liquor" awarding it the gold medal .
La "Drink Special" is made by Rum and a mix of infusions of local herbs e citrus . According to tradition it should be served hot , but it is excellent also enjoyed cold , on the rocks or plain, as a satisfying end to a meal, as a correction to coffee and on ice cream. Excellent ingredient for pastry and very versatile in mixology .
